Chipping turns a tangled pile of branches into tidy, manageable mulch — ideal for reducing waste volume, and useful on the garden if you want it. The chips can be left for you to use as a mulch around beds, or taken away with the rest of the waste.
It's a practical option after pruning, clearance or storm work, and especially useful where access is tight and a van full of long branches would be awkward to load.
